Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 29, 2026

OperAItional Edge LLC operates The Divergent Sidekick. This policy explains what we collect and what we do not. The short version: your poker play stays on your device.

1. The core promise: your play never leaves your device

The drills you do and every hand you look up run locally in your browser/app. Your hands, spots, drill scores, and results are not transmitted to us and not stored on our servers. You can verify this, open your browser network tab while you train; nothing about your play is sent.

2. What we actually collect

The only personal information we collect is what is needed to give you an account and a subscription:

  • Your email address, to send your sign-in link and account/billing notices.
  • Subscription status, whether your subscription is active, plus a founder number if you are one of the first 100. This comes from our payment processor.
  • Basic technical logs, standard server logs (e.g., IP address, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention, kept for a limited time.
  • Community stories you choose to submit on our website (a name or handle, an optional location line, and your story). These are reviewed by hand before anything is published.
  • Anonymous usage analytics on the marketing website only, and only if you accept them in the cookie banner (see section 6).

We do not collect or store your poker hands, your play history, your results, or your card details.

3. Service providers we use

  • Stripe processes payments. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles that. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Resend sends our sign-in and account emails.
  • Neon hosts the small database that holds your email and subscription status.
  • Lovable Cloud (Supabase) hosts our marketing website and stores community-story submissions.
  • Google Analytics measures marketing-site traffic — only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. It is off by default, and you can change your choice anytime via “cookie settings” in the footer.

These providers process data on our behalf to run the Service.

4. How we use your information

To: authenticate your sign-in, provide and bill your subscription, send essential account/service messages, and keep the Service secure. If you opt in to our article series or updates, we will use your email to send those (and you can unsubscribe anytime).

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above (to run the Service) or where required by law.

6. Your choices

  • Marketing email: unsubscribe anytime via the link in those emails.
  • Access/deletion: email rick@operaitionaledge.com to request a copy or deletion of the personal data we hold (your email and subscription record). Note we keep what we must for legal/financial records.
  • Cookies and analytics: the app uses only what is needed to keep you signed in. The marketing site asks before enabling analytics cookies (Google Analytics); decline and the site works exactly the same. Change your choice anytime via “cookie settings” in the footer.

7. Data retention and security

We keep your account data while your account exists and as required for tax/financial records, then delete it. We use reasonable safeguards; no method is 100% secure.

8. Children

The Service is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes and contact

We will post changes here with a new effective date. Questions or requests: rick@operaitionaledge.com
